U-Connect and the V3xx issues
Hello! I have an '08 Jeep with 'U-connect' handsfree unit. It has worked well with my older V3 and other V3xx phones. However, after inserting my current phone into the laundry, I picked up a couple of used V3xx from E-bay. One works ok and the other connects, then disconnects, then connects, and on and on. I've tried doing the boot command, and still no go. I've tried using different 'priorities' on the U-connect, still no go--one phone works Ok the other, not so!

V3xx and handsfree car system
I currently own a V3, which I use with my hands free car system, and would like to upgrade to the V3xx. While reading the review section I noticed that one individual (BJones14711 - May 9,2007) complained that Motorola had changed the bluetooth signal on the V3xx which made it incompatible with his cars system. Unfortunately he does not accept messages so I am unable to get details.
Have any of you experienced, or heard of others, that have encountered this issue with the V3xx?

Indicator light for 1.3 8x zoom stay on
Does anyone know how to 'shut off' the indicator light next to the camera lenz. It says 1.3 8x zoom on it and that light stays on all the time. I think it's running my battery down. I don't know how it came to be on all the time. I want this light indicator to be off. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thanks... ðŸ˜x81
Tri-Band difference
Hi. My first post so please excuse my ignorance.
Just took delivery of Razr V3XX and noticed box label says 'GSM 900/1800/1900.' Thought it would be GSM 850/1800/1900, not 900.
Does this tell me that this phone is a gray market product from overseas (not USA)? Wanted to use on any USA GSM network and MAYBE Canada.

INSURANCE - During call Phone shuts off then 'reboots'
We've had Motorola cellphones forever. My wife has no problems at all while my phones continually have issues. The latest issue I've had is my phone shutting down literally turning itself off during a conversation then re-starting (most of the times). This happens on each and every call - sometimes multiple times during a call - seems to be only when I make the call. It's infuriating! Years ago, I opted for the monthly $4.99 insurance 'policy' (my wife didn't). Since then, I've had to return my phone 3 times to the tune of $50 each time (let alone the $4.99/month I had already paid on my monthly bill).
Without pulling out our bills for the last 4 years, it seems to me I'm needing to get a replacement phone about every 6-9 months. Again, t...

Transfer ringtones via bluetooth
Hello,
I am new to this forum and I have a question that I hope u can help me with.
My kids both have the razor V3 and I have tried to transfer ring tones from my phone to their phone and the transfers went through but I cannot find the ring tones. Can anyone tell me how I go about finding the ring tones?

V3XX Media Finder Catalog problem
I just bought a V3XX but I cannot access the sounds or music player because I am getting an error which says that the Media Finder Catalog has to be rebuilt. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Store to Phone or Sim card?
Need help with phone number storage location. It's been so long since I bought the phone, I forget which is the default location - phone or sim card. I believe the sim card assignment storage location allows more info to be stored per contact. Is that correct? If so, I'd like to dump everything in my phone storage location, change the assigned storage location default to sim (not sure how to do that), then restore all my currently backed up info from Phone Tools on to the sim card, (any reason not to do this?). Can anyone help with some pointers how best to accomplish that?
Blinking Keypad
I have no insurance on my phone, and I have owned it for about 9 months now. The keypad started blinking, and it decides when it wants to light up (in might I mention the most inconvenient times). Has anyone else had this problem, and is there any way to resolve it?

videos won't open
I have had my phone about 3 months. I was able to recieve videos by text but now for some reason the video won't open. I have the sound in the video but the video itself won't open. it starts to open and then I get the greyblue screen with a little white box in the top section. I went to the ATT store and they sent me a video from a phone they had and it worked fine but when I recieve one from someone else it won't open,,,,anyone have any ideas?

hello, I have been trying to get streaming fm radio on my v3xx. I have read up that it is compatible with 3gpp. There is a wonderful site (www.moodio.fm) but I can't seem to get it to work. Is there a program that I can download to make it work. Any ideas?

Micro SD memory card
I see two types of cards, an SD and a SDHC. The V3xx operators manual just states the SD version up to 4 GB and NO mention of hte SDHC (ver 2, higher perf. specs). Has anyone tried the SDHC in this phone and does/will it work?

Headphone Jack
While the index in the online PDF User's Guide for the V3xx indicates a 'headset jack' can be found on Page 1, no such jack in mentioned on Page 2 AND all other indications are that there is no such jack. Am I right? If so, how would you suggest I connect the MP3 player in this cell phone to the 'MP3 Input Jack' of the sound system in my truck?

Sending sounds in a text with picture
I read in the user guide that I can insert pictures and sound with a text message, the pictere part is easy, but when I went to add sound/music it wouldn't let me I know where to go, but when I hit music or sound it won't let me attach it...can anyone help me

Question.... Can the 3G be disabled on this phone? I hate the fact that when ever you are in a 3G area (regardless of the phone), the battery is sucked up like crazy.

SMS converting to MMS?!
Okay, so after having this phone for almost two weeks I couldn't have been more happy...until today.
Is anybody else having problems with this phone converting all SMS messages into MMS messages? Despite the length of the text--it could be 10 characters or 250--the phone automatically converts the message into an MMS before it is sent.
This hasn't happened for nearly two weeks and all of a sudden it changed. I triple and quadruple checked the settings and everything is as it should be.
Needless to say, I'm very annoyed and would love it if anybody could help me out. Thanks!
